Yes, Talent Portal's core functionality is completely free and will always remain free. You can create job alerts, receive job matches, save jobs, and manage your profile at no charge. We may introduce optional premium features in the future for nice-to-have extras, but all essential job search features will stay free forever.
Job alerts use your preferences (tech stack, location, salary expectations) to automatically match you with relevant jobs. When new jobs are posted that match your criteria, you'll receive an email notification. You can create multiple alerts with different filters to cover various job types you're interested in.
Absolutely! You can create as many job alerts as you need, each with different technologies, locations, salary ranges, and other filters. For example, you might have one alert for React jobs in Switzerland and another for Python jobs in Germany. This gives you complete flexibility to track different opportunities.
Job matches are jobs that our algorithm automatically identifies based on your alerts and preferences - they appear in your dashboard when new matching jobs are found. Saved jobs are positions you manually bookmark for later review. Think of matches as recommendations we send you, and saved jobs as your personal shortlist.
No. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with recruiters or third-party companies for marketing purposes. Your profile and job search activity remain private. When you apply to a job, only that specific employer receives the information you choose to submit in your application. We are a job board and make money by selling job advertisements directly to companies, not by selling your data.
You can delete your account anytime from your profile settings. Once you request deletion, all your data (profile, alerts, saved jobs, matches) will be permanently removed from our systems within 7 days. This is irreversible and complies with GDPR requirements.
